The Light At The End of The Tunnel

There was a time when I lived in the darkness 

There was a time when I lived in despair 

Loneliness and sadness were my friends

Betrayal from others, left, and ignored

With uncountable sleepless nights

Seeing anything from the bright side was almost impossible

I was on the lowest point of my life

Hope was the only I have to stay alive

It seemed almost impossible to reach out

Yet, I kept telling myself, miracle is there, do not loose hope

Remembered the words from a wise person

He said, “The tunnel might be long, yet, in the end, you’ll see the light at the end of the tunnel”

Those words helped me to stay alive

Those words inspired me to stay strong even in the most difficult circumstance

Until today, I finally saw the light

Ton of burdens fell apart

At the end of the tunnel

But it is not the end

The journey does not stop

The other tunnels are waiting to be passed 

But for sure, I told myself

No matter how many they are

I will see the light at the end of the tunnel
